In other words there are many of us who actually do know game development but we don't attention fag like they do. And we don't need to prove that we are as a lot of this shit is basic knowledge you can figure out yourself with a good couple hours of reading.
You literally don't even need to create models to know this if that's what you're thinking either. There are reasons people would work with models that don't have anything to do with creating them whatsoever.
Also, you do realize by your logic you'd have to discount plenty of people from supposedly knowing things, right?
Not a doctor? Clearly you can't tell when you're sick, right? You need to go in every day just so someone can tell you when you are. That hacking cough and the bleeding out of your eyes doesn't prove anything because you're not a doctor.
You don't know that's not normal because you aren't a professional medical worker.
And there are people literally with the degrees who aren't doing those jobs meaning they also can't call themselves a developer with knowledge according to this logic. Working at McDonald's because your degree was nearly as worthless as the toilet paper you'll be cleaning off the ceiling later? Clearly you can't know because you're not one even though you have the degree but since you've never actually worked in the field yet, you're not actually one.
And realistically this is the most reasonable of them since active experience is experience worth the most regardless of the degrees you possess but it's still fucking stupid to say they can't know anything just because they've never done the job.
Plenty of people have never been botanists or chefs. Doesn't mean they can't keep a mean garden and know everything about those flowers or make food you wish you could eat for every meal every day.
