XY is literally the most replayable game, period, it's perfect for nuzlockes since it has by far the biggest and more diverse regional dex so you have a stupidly high amount of pokemon to chose for your team (unlike Alola and its famous yungoos that appear in all dexes)

XY is horrible when it comes to its story and interruption but it's Pokedex is God Tier level making it one of the better games to replay through. SM is worse because of the constant stopping of the game's flow which is extremely exhausting forcing you to place the game down for some time.

Probably either Johto or Alola. Johto because grinding is ass, while Alola is mostly due to cutscenes. These games need a cutscene skip. Even Metroid: Other M and it's infamously bad unskippable cutscenes has the decency to let you skip them if you replay the game.

I played Diamond and even as a dumb kid I hated how slow it felt. How much of an improvement is Platinum? Also does it run any better playing it on the 3ds or is it the exact same?
