everyone wants ice to get a buff but nobody wants their pet type to get an indirect nerf as a result.

It's great offensively. Gamefreak just needs to make fast ice sweepers instead of bulky tanks that are useless cause they have a million weaknesses

Resisting ice, flying and fairy would just be a very unique resistance line up that cant be usurped by another type. Kind of like how rock and steel both resist flying and normal, but steel just does it better.

Likewise fairies hang out in the woods and are friends of nature. Nature cant thrive easily in the arctic environments
