Johto as a region is not designed for ebign a solo region. There's simply not enough stuff to do

Why are the animations for a side mode so much better than battle animations. If I had it my way, Pokemon should follow you, and occasionally use their Amie animations. Let's say you're idle for a while, then they'd fall asleep like in OP's gif, or you can interact with them in the overworld and they'll do their Amie animations.

Just make a Crystal remake on Switch with Espeon and Umbreon as starters. I enjoyed Let's Go eevee, they really did a good job updating the story and including more characters in the story, like when Lorelei helps against team rocket
