I wish she did more in that game or at least be more relevant to the plot. She was set up to be this cool golfer and it goes nowhere.

The unused golf course on the SM map could have been planned to let you meet her before she become elite, but the rushed development prevent it and USUM don't even bother to add this.

there was obviously a scrapped section of the game with a golf course, it was hinted at in dialogues and its on the world map
gamefreak is a fucking awful developer so they didnt even bother adding this in USUM though
seriously fuck this series

Absolutely This. They don't even give them a token Mario tier personalty trait. The most die hard G/S fan couldn't tell what Karen's pokemon team is but I bet they could describe her outfit and memorized her meme speech.
