It's fast, but it doesn't set up easily, can't kill things if it can't set up, still struggles to kill things even if it does set up, and can still get screwed over by Water Shuriken even if everything else goes right.

Because having to pick between Z-Aqua Tail for Lando-T and EQ for Toxapex who are both everywhere makes it difficult to get far with it as a sweeper.

You don't have to pick, you can just drop Poison Jab. Unaware Clefable is the only major loss, since Fini is easy to wear down and MG Clefable takes ~70% from +2 Hydro Vortex.

Getting Clefable to 70% so you can secure at least one kill with Hydro Vortex is better than not having Aqua Tail or Earthquake and doing absolutely fuck all against Lando, Pex, Celesteela, etc. Point is, Scolipede is dookie but you don't have to pick between Aqua Tail and Earthquake because dropping Poison Jab instead is the optimal choice.
