>>39412084This is some seriously shitty retorts you got there dude. Gengar is the only mega that's legitamently busted to fight (Fug and Mewtwox2 don't count since you have the option to prevent yourself from fighting teams with them online) and it's not as common online since everyone is drawn too mence and gross.
Megamence has terrible special defense, is extremely predictable, relies on two moves (Return or Double-Edge and Earthquake) so it's easy to hard wall it and it's got a weakness to sneaky pebbles and quad to ice.
Megagross is harder to handle but is absolutely wrecked by any status of any kind, can't boost itself aside from Hone Claws or Power-Up Punch, can be walled very easily by many things (even non-mega Sableye can wall it thanks to priority burn) and it's completely destroyed by Foul Play or anything faster than it.
They're both good and Mence and Gross needed a buff (they were both starting to fall to powercreep and normal Metagross is fucking RU these days), and yes they seem oppressive and all powerful but they aren't nearly as hard to deal with as you'd expect. Same for Kang, too, since Parental Bond got nerfed so it doesn't hit nearly as hard (but it can still wreck havoc if underestamated).
This is coming from a guy who uses Mega Venusaur, meaning that my main man is totally fucked over by Mence and Gross. I still have no problems destroying the two, or their teammates.
Seriously. Gengar's the only one that's annoying to fight on occasion since it gets Perish Song, Shadow Tag and Destiny Bond to just force people into no-win situations (or the CasinoGar set) but even then if you can lure it in and cripple it you can take it down with minimal hassle (priority helps loads).
Like Megas could have been fleshed out more but it's still better than this new shit.
