Getting through this and picking up the TM for Sludge Bomb (my fav move as a kid at the time) while sitting outside next to the pool with my mom on a warm Summer day for the first time. I want to be a kid and experience goodness and soul again badly bros. Games suck now

I got to get to mirage island in emerald, which is insane because later I found out the chance to get there was one in millions.
The game invisibly generates something like 1 in 65000+ numbers at random every day and if it coincides with one your 6 team Pokemon personality value (5 random digits number unknown to the player), the island appears.

And the only worthy thing the shitty island has, is a shitty unusual berry.

I talked to that one old man in Pacifidlog every fucking day for months on end, hoping to find that one island. I remember carefully reading the guidebook, looking for any small detail to help make it appear. I tried literally everything.
