look at the ink in the dark areas of the picture. regular paper is too absorbent and it creates an ugly pattern where there's lots of dark ink. glossy paper gets rid of that problem.

4 months prior to launch the game is already complete. remember that they have to handle burning the cartridges, packaging, and shipping millions of copies in 4 months.
Without to mention the marketing, nowadays this is as important if not more, than the game itself.
