By the time it releases I'll also have a third since I intend to pick up the yellow Lite alongside LA when it releases.
I would also buy a second normally, but I'm going to wait to see if they've fixed the drifting issue on the sticks first (honestly surprised they didn't go with the pads from the 3DS for tthis version - they've probably even still got some in some manufacturing plant somewhere).
But yeah... It's one thing to replace Joycon but taking away the modular aspect and not fixing the issues one of them has is not okay.
I could easily regularly replace the entire system (I've literally never sent anything in for repairs because it's just not worth the hassle when you can buya new one and be done with it) but having grown up as a poorfag I'm not into straight up wasting money on a product the company knows is bad either.
I'm not buying S/S for a reason, after all.
