if you buy sword and shield you are contributing to the death of the franchise, if you don't, they will conclude that people just don't care about the main series anymore, and they will refocus all of their resources on to their mobileshit. game freak will never listen to its fans. you are not the target audience anymore. its over. the days of playing all of your older pokemon games like platinum and hgss are long gone, and replaying them today just doesn't feel the same as you've replayed them countless times. the franchise is now aimed towards little children and twitter turbo normies who will consume anything that floats in front of their faces. its time to grow up and leave the franchise and leave this board. its time to move on.
