>>39422985I mean, I don't mind injectors who just do silly things on their own time or only do so to fuck with people.
I do mind injectors who do shit like hack in mythicals like Zeraora and then WT them out en masse because I lost a cart to that when it got corrupted. It's just a dickish thing to do.
Fighting injectors online though is just fucking funny. It's so god damn obvious when they do it (Moon Ball Shiny Tapu Fini for example, lmfao fucker isn't even trying to hide it) and the moment, the fucking literal instant anything goes wrong for them they disconnect like a child throwing a tantrum and it's fucking hilarious. The amount of times I've beaten one of these kids who think their super special shiny whatever teams with my in game team only for them to disconnect on me in the middle of the game is so great that I'd probably have a W/L ratio of at least 3/4 if they'd stop bailing out like children. But it's worth it because it's really god damn funny when it happens.
I don't breed, either. I just go out and catch things manually then use the bottle caps to raise IVs. I only breed if I need specific egg moves, and even then I just take the first one that's 'bare minimum' and use bottle caps to raise it up because I find it easier to do than just breeding for 5ivs
and because I like the personality traits it gives them, I think it makes things more interesting than "capable of taking hits" or some shit. .
Either way full on breeders should take a step back and be more casual since they're spending so much time on something they don't really need to do that much anymore but injectors tend to be free wins online and get very impatient and defensive about it. If you're the kind of person who plays a game around friendship like a robot who seeks only to win you're the kind of person they paint as the villain in pokemon since it goes against the point of the games. Think on that.
