I would say that going super Grassfag isn't the easiest but if you're smart with your coverage moves you should be fine. Petlil evolves into Lilligant who gets STUPID strong Petal Dances that give her no confusion so if you can only get one get her, Venipede can fit on your team no problem.

Just grab a Tymepole. Ground Water will fuck any fire type and the only gym to worry about is Bug. Fire types are rare in Unova anyway, with Simisear, Darmanitan, and the ghost candles being the only real problems.

Interestingly enough I thought the designs for gen 5 Pokemon were a little strange and not my favorite, but I respect that so far all the pokes I have seen were new for that gen.

Sewaddle is good for a while but lessens over time
Venipede is arguably the best in terms of overall stats and movepool
I fucking love Petilil/Lilligant though, if you get a sun stone before it reaches level 28 (or you just decide to find the move relearner later on) it gets Quiver Dance. I replayed BW like a week ago using it and it's so much fun

Sweaddle is the most underrated compared to the other two but i still still love it. One of my favorite early route bugs in the series.

I replaced Snivy with one of the early grass mons. I think petlil is pretty good late game with quiver dance, petal dance, and own tempo.
Venipede is also one of the best in the game. Great move pool and speed boost.

Sewaddle is adorable, but weak throughout the game.

So I was looking at sewaddles final Evo for shots and giggles, and it doesn't look that bad. Leaf blade and x-scissor aren't that bad on an 100 att chasis unless I'm underestimated the power creep in gen 5
