A lot of states have rules in place where if you're within two years of each other it's not considered pedophilia.

Maybe when you were a kid there was a major difference, but college nowadays is literally just a kiddie corral now. College age kids act the same as high schoolers.
And 15 year olds are high schoolers.

I wouldn't bat my eye seeing a 17 year old dating a 21 year old. Nor an 18 year old dating a 30 year old. What's different about a 15 year old and a 19 year old?

Is that really what older people see when they're attracted to younger people, or are you just projecting? Old people are not only uglier, but also bitter, and have emotional/mental/physical baggage, maybe even kids. Younger people are more lively and thirsty for fun. They don't feel death knocking at their door yet, and they probably don't have exhausting jobs or parents' funerals to arrange yet.
