There were the tribes, but outside of numerology there isn't much to tie them up.

Yes, their symbol is even the Chi Rho. A symbol adopted and used by the Christian Church, primarily during the age of the crusades. It was originally the sign of Constantine if I recall, but the church adopted it and used THE FUCK out of it. The Catholic church still uses it today.
