>>39435040It could have easily been the first dlc Pokemon story. Yeah I know they said they'd never do it but it would have fit so well.
-Have it release a year+ later
-Event starts at the second alter where you meet the ultra recon squad and you need Solgaleo/Lunala in your party.
-Necrozma fights "Nebby" and takes it into the wormhole.
-You are given the opposite legendary to go after it.
-Ultra Megalopolis is an actual dungeon.
-You fight Ultra Necrozma
-After everything with that is over, you are sent back home.
-Tv starts Rainbow Rocket stuff, all continues as normal. (Lillie returning would actually feel more fitting as it's been an actual year.)
-After Rainbow Rocket, the ultra recon squad tell you about the new wormholes where you can find the ultra beasts dungeons and the extra legendary Pokemon.
-Finally the ultra recon squad also start appearing in the battle tree.
This more or less and I feel like it would have been received better.
