There wasn't a SJW takeover, there wasn't a giant civil war between the dev team, etc. It's still being worked on.

what actually happened is that one person and two other people had a spat in off topic chats (which aren't heavily moderated since it's a 4chan project and there's no way to put limits on bullying or shitposting), which was kept to off topic chats, but then the person in question became paranoid that said spat was leading to their shit getting denied in on topic chats even though it wasn't, then when said person got kicked off the plot team for outright lying and miscommunicating with other devs about work getting done, they sperged out in the on topic productive chats, not just the off toipic ones, and accused everybody of persecuting him, went on a tirade insulting people, and then got kicked entirely.
