Im pretty sure the only thing for certain being worked on was the translation. last I checked when getting the game to load outside of demo mode you instantly get wrecked by a level 10 or so meowth that your rival has

The guys who announced it existed said they were making a full translation of the demo so everyone could play the demo in english.
But what happened with that?
I never heard anything about it after that.

No-one else has either. The last I heard was that they were having trouble working a translation into the game's spaghetti code. While they're supposedly still working on it, I think it's fairly safe to say it's dead at this point.

Surely the fact that it's only a demo means it isn't close to a full game. Therefore, any "full" version will have to use resources from somewhere else and will be simply someone's estimate or interpretation of what it might have been, right?
