I'm saying use your brain. There plenty of examples of Pokemon who despite being tamed still disobey their trainers, again there is Charizard but there was also Pikachu who still does disobey alot. Then there was Psyduck, he never fucking obeyed he didn't respect his ball he kept letting himself out. Jame's pokemon FREQUENTLY assaulted him, and we also see pokemon who had balls disobey direct orders because they disagreed with them
The pokemon in the anime appeared to have free will even if capture or stored in a ball, the balls do not appear to brainwash the pokemon into obeying orders or even liking their trainers. If the balls truely totally brainwashed pokemon to doing whatever they were told then why did Charmander need to be fooled by damien, he could have got rid of him by simplying ordering him to 'get lost'.
However if they have every pokemon acting realistically after being capture the show would have dragged on for seasons as Ash would have to tame every wild pokemon he caught, so for narritive reason they have the pokemon act nice upon getting out of their balls, that doesn't mean ball tamed them though some still acted like assholes, the taurus since they weren't part of the narritive really got to act normal,ie wild and destructive. I'm not ignoring I'm pointing out why it was done that way.
>You can just say "I dont like the mechanics of this franchise" and leave it at that anonExcept the Mechanics aren't canon, the balls do not mindwipe/brainwash the pokemon, pokemon are partners, pets, and companions not fucking lobotomized slaves. Again in the canon there is only one type of ball that does mindalter the pokemon I can't remember whats it called but its basically a master ball, it corrupts the pokemon, robs them of their free will, and essentially turns them into a golem but old Hebrew kind, will obey its orders but those orders can't be receded. So what your pronunciations..
