There is no Pokémon quite like the Totodile line. Sandile line comes close and are pretty good on their own but Sandile isn't quite as cute as Totodile and Krookodile isn't quite as cool as Feraligatr.
I also can't think of any Pokémon that fills the gap that Empoleon does, such a cool Pokémon.
I shouldn't even be validating this shit thread with a response but this meme doesn't apply well when a lot of starters are fairly unique on their own.
You might have a point if you're talking to like, a Charizardfag or something.

Being solo grass type is not a good thing, less stabs is bad.
The stat spread is just worse than venu, venu gets more spa where meganium gains defense. This defense does you nothing good because grass at best is a mediocre defensive typing.
