That is a good point and it makes perfect sense, to be fair. I was never a Genwunner, for me Digimon was always the better of the two. It is only natural I would prefer Pokemon who are more similar to Digimon.

Not him, but I agree the later designs are better than the ones made with the GBC graphics in mind.
Anyone who says new pokémon look like digimon should google 'Digidex' to remember how they actually looked like though.
