There are two buttons.
>Red
The Battle Frontier (not just the battle tower and its clones) become a series staple and is included in every game onwards
>Blue
The PWT becomes that instead
You can only pick one. Choose wisely.

PWT is some nice fanservice, but still just straightforward battles in the end. Battle Frontier presents interesting rules and conditions.

Red button since I want to see more twists on the standard battling formula like what more facilities would provide. I can't think of many ways to improve upon PWT besides including E4 members and maybe a spectator mode to see the gym leaders and champions duke it out and bet with the in-game currency similar to the Smash 4 spectator mode. The latter seems unlikely since the Game Corner was removed.

PWT is pure fanservice and should be a one off or done sparingly.

Frontier is just good post-game, and would ideally be a regular concept.

Remove the fanservice and PWT isn't that great. Especially now since returning characters lost their meaning with SM and Masters

PWT is fun mostly because you see old characters back, you can do that without having the PWT, in fact SM already did it with the Battle Tree.
