A properly leveled Starmie wipes the floor with her and the rest of the Kanto E4 minus the rival. Only her Jynx I think is not hit super effective by Boltbeam+Psychic and Surf.

I have the reverse issue, Lorelei is usually the wall I have to hit over and over again to get past/get some levels but after that, it's smooth sailing.
