James can actually be pretty fucking scary when he gets serious as you realize just how much of James persona is pure fakery and how compatient he actually is especially with a rifle in his hands. He also acts the idiot but he isn't one, hes actually very knowledgeable about pokemon having created his pokedex on cue cards in meticulous detail a feat that would have required a shit ton of research.

I think the James we know is largely a mask he created to protect himself from Jessabelle, one he still puts up because Jesse looks a lot like her and I don't mean in just appearance

I always thought that those cards were more like those sets of flash cards that bookstores sell on various topics. It’s fitting to James’ character that he’s the only one out of the three to realize that it might be handy to carry around some kind of reference material on Pokémon. It also emphasizes how poor their trio is, especially compared to the gameboy Dex Ash and his friends have.

I'll have to try and find the episode but I think he said he didn't buy them he hand made them himself. Also the reason he doesn't have a pokedex is only professors can issue them as they as much tools for the trainer as tricorders collecting and sending valuable date to professors

Hes not the crack shot you make him out to be. Unless hes intentionally missing but the question becomes why? If he simply told Jesse he didn't want to use lethal she'd probably respect I know Meowth at least gets sick at the idea of actually hurting people no matter how much he boasts that he could.

He'd get too attached to every single pokemon coming into his care and break down into tears ever time he'd need to send one home or it got picked up. James loves all pokemon even if they constantly show their affection by assaulting and hurting him.

I think the best place for James would be working in a gym. Not as the leader, but one of the random flunkies who trains under the leader and helps maintain the gym. He's get to help take care of all the gym Pokemon, have a gym leader there to help him hone his skills, and he could even put his artistic talents and business talents to use to help the gym in various ways.

Dogasu is a bit of an autist, during the Hoenn arc his updates amounted to him telling everyone the most autistic of shit and during Johto alot of his translations were wrong and shit.

Pretty much. 「頑張れよ」definitely doesn’t imply finality in Ash’s leaving behind Pidgeot. The script according to that site explicitly states he will be back, the implication being he’d see Pidgeot again.

He is the son rich aristocrats, the reason hes probably so good with rifle but shitty with an automatic is he was probably raised into hunting for sport. Riding ponytas through the forest chasing down Fennekins with Growlie and other dogs But don't worry they'd only use tranquilizers as its cheaper reuse the fox rather then stuff and mount it. It might also play into why he ran away as Jessabelle can be dealt with by growing a pair, the parents can't. From what we seen they are just as wanting to dictate every aspect of Jame's life as Jessabelle including what James does for fun.
