HGSS, of course.
They're basically GSC but with fixed Kanto Gym Leader levels, physical/special split, abilities, Pokémon up to gen 4, Voltorb Flip, Gym Leader/E4/Champion rematches, Battle Frontier, Pokéathlon, following Pokémon, Safari Zone and Pokéwalker.
The only real trade off is that they're a bit slower.

I genuinely can't see how anyone would say HGSS. It costs a ridiculous amount in today's market, adds nothing of value, leaves fundamental issues in the games, and loses all of the charm and soul lf the originals. HGSS was just a bunch of fluff with little actual substance. Only Frontier shitters need apply.
