The games will continue to degrade and lose features until they truly are just the most bare bones a Pokemon game can get, they'll still sell, people will still defend them, and people will still be fans of Pokemon despite the passion having died a long time ago, and any piece of media so obviously just being created to sell merch.
Ishihara and Masuda will assimilate themselves into the cloud in order to continue to run TPC and GameFreak respectively from beyond the grave.

mindless gacha whales will inevitably spend their life savings on pokemon masters, and it will become bigger than fgo. game freak/tpc will use this as their excuse to stop making mainline games anymore and make pokemon a full-time mobile franchise instead.
if you think the games are bad now (and they are), just wait until lootboxes and microtransactions become their primary business model.

Pokemon games will become movile centered and mainline games will either not be produced anymore after gen 4 remakes or they get downgraded so much that they are not worth playing.
The anime will continue it's vicious circle of ash never winning the pokemon league and then traveling to the next region.
