I can't believe they missed that simple opportunity. If alecremie was half plant type they could justify making a strawberry cream pokemon because those strawberrys are plants. Otherwise this doesnt fit with the lore how could evolution create a strawberry cake. My take is most things invented in pokemon were inspired by natural occuring pokemon. A bell pokemon was and they thought look its steel body makes it resonate we could form a similiar thing out of steel and call it a bell. Look the shell of this pokemon is protecting it ill recreate it and call it armor. And in this case you could say look this pokemon stores sugar in its succulent body its also a plant type because it grows two large strawberrys on its head. this gives me an idea i call it a strawberry cake.


Also most object pokemon are objects possesed by ghosts so they developed through human inventions
