poor anatomy, how do the arms and legs work on the evo? There are no joints in thr hem and the design is clearly trying to give off a predatory vibe. How could it possibly move? Could only imagine it t posing as is.
Same way every other dinosaur moves, it actually has pretty decent anatomy for someone who doesn't consider themselves an artist, he definitely doesn't give himself enough credit based on what he's posted in the thread. Sure it's not Sugimori art, but he definitely can go places if he keeps practicing.
Honestly, I don't particularly see what is wrong with either design, other than as you pointed out the tongue color and the second evolution looking more straight animal than Pokemon unlike the first design. Honestly I think there are a lot more designs worth complaining about in these threads than that anon's by far.
