God, I really love it when artists give their characters different casual clothes every time you see them in casual outfits.
Really makes the characters seem more alive. Plus, you get insight into the characters based on what they would wear.

I don't think I've ever been any less excited for a new Pokemon game.
I didn't care much for Sun and Moon either, but I cared enough to at least check out a few let's play videos on YouTube. I highly doubt I will for Sword and Shield.

I'm not fond of the national dex change, but so far a lot of the new Pokemon I've actually liked a lot so I'm not too upset about it.

Dyna/Gigamax stuff is pretty stupid looking though.

Everything we've seen so far has been disappointing to me. Dynamax and Gigantamax are not really that interesting. There is a chance my favorite Pokemon might be cut from the game. It looks like it really does not utilize the Switch's full potential. Wild area looks interesting, but it also looks like it needs more work. Honestly compared to Sun and Moon, I feel like we're getting less and having to pay more. People can do whatever they want, but I won't be buying it unless they can convince me in the next three months that it is worth getting.

I've been drained. Completely drained of any excitement or love I still had for this series. GameFreak have been releasing hot garbage for a while now but at least I still had the Pokemon. Now it's just hot garbage with some Pokemon. And it costs more.

I've no reason to lie. As much as I love the Pokemon designs themselves I've never been too big a fan of the actual games, they can be fun but overall tend to be just mediocre products being carried by the concept of building your own team and fantastic monster designs. Yet still I find that not only are the games are getting worse but the focus seems to be less and less about the Pokemon in favour of making waifus for those sweet merch sales. I usually at least have the Pokemon to rely on, but outside of Rolycoly which could end up a favourite of mine in time they're just not doing it for me this time around. At this point I just want to see the regional Normal/Bug/Flying expies (assuming Wooloo isn't the Normal) and be done with it.

They’re seriously becoming akin to bronies, it’s that level of cringe and embarrassment. I don’t feel sorry for them either, it’s a level of disgust that you could find something so poorly made enjoyable and somehow defend it. I can only think these people have the minds of toddlers and infant children, or they’re at least pretending to, which is even worse. It’s absolutely grotesque.
