I think a nice comfy traditional 3D platformer where you play as this or that pokemon and just explore wide ares and maps doing quests for npcs would be a great idea for a game, basically pokemon mario 64
It would be even cooler if it was true to the original games and you could only learn and use four moves at a time and by doing so allow for different ways to complete a stage or platform across a level
Honestly I'd be happy with anything RPG like that isn't just another strategy type game
