I really don't get the people that think GF actually remade the models. Literally anyone with two eyes and a brain cell can see that that's not the case at all.
And even if that were true, that just makes GF look in competent anyways.
The XY models were designed to be high fidelity to the point where those games ran like shit as a consequence, are you people really implying that that was just a massive waste of time? If anything this just only says they should have just stuck with sprites instead of the 3D models that some people didn't even LIKE.
