It's still alive, they're just starting over...again

They're replacing Tierno with Ethan this time and including some of the characters that were planned to be introduced in the later years because they've cut off the second-third years and the game will take place in a entire year now.

So basically they have toned down a lot of what they planned to do originally to try to make it more feasible.

I remember them having said they planned to be quiet to run off under nintendo's radar a few years ago. I wouldn't be surprised if they officially cancel it in a few years at this point, but it's something worth considering before running off into any conclusions.

I personally liked the previous artstyle, but they keep updating the portraits. I wish you could toggle the art for characters that have more than one, like in TiTS.

There haven't been any words on Rosa and Lyra. Others like Cynthia, Roxanne, Candice, etc. hold some sort of special profession, making them undateable. Korrina in the demo was shown to be a older student than Red being near graduation, so it's safe to say she's also won't be a romance option.

Yeah, but word from the artist and their facebook account claim they're still working on it and just haven't had anything worthwhile to update us with, but I wouldn't really push my hopes up. This is the most inactive they've been and they have openly admitted to their progress being slow. That's usually a start for a project to begin dying down and for the devs to start losing any motivation they have to continue the project.

It's also important to note that most of them have probably turned into young adults and now have far bigger things to be concerned about regarding their life.
