Awful, awful, awful. There's no hope that they'll be able to make it good in time for release and based on everything we've seen from Game Freak for the past six years, the official games might as well be over.

Personally I just hope the new Pokemon in it are better than what they've shown so far. Mostly because I trust fangame developers to actually make use of them.

Basically these except the soul meme. 3D is inherently soullesser at best and even Masuda understood that and that 2D was a core reason we loved the games before switching to 3D because it was easier and therefore allowed him to shit out yearly games.

These are the first titles on an HD capable handheld and should be as big in content - not Pokémon models - as it can be.

To add ot the issue with gigantimax shit being bad, they literally at one point said something about how Megas were inherently lesser for only allowing certain species and that's why Dynamax was good - then they literally just make gigantamax to be Mega + 2.

Just delay to give us back Megas and all the rest of the shit that we loved you removed instead of making up excuses for shit you retards. Jesus-fucking-Christ.

Anon, it seems you haven't looked at the fucking map. I'm talking mostly about the towns and other things we haven't seen. (since most things we've seen were basically just muh wild areas and early towns)
It actually looks like one of the most varied regions in the entire franchise so far, and that's a godsend considering how Alola was uncreative hawaiian shit.

Could have been fun if I went into it blind like I was planning too. Seeing something like Corviknight for the first time and seeing Overworld Pokemon after it seemed to be deconfirmed in the first trailer would've felt great. But the National Dex news basically ruined that idea since I needed to see what that meant and how they made up for the loss of possibly some of my favorite Pokemon.

Because megas required a new form for every Pokemon that could mega evolve. With this they literally just increase the size of the model. It’s yet more laziness. Granted, some can gigantmax, but you know it’s going to be an extremely limited amount. Honesty game freak and tic just don’t seem to care about quality anymore, they’re just milking the franchise for everything they can.

As I say every time you fuckers repost this thread, I'm not thrilled, but I'm still interested in the games.

Dex cut doesn't matter to me. And I do see the improvements this is making over USUM and the other mainline titles. The graphical issues are something I fully expected because these games are constantly fucked development-wise. The fact that the modelers, animators and programmers got things looking even this okay given their ridiculous circumstances forced by the executives at GF is surprising.
All my problems with the games I blame solely on the management at GF refusing to hire more people when they're already stuck with short dev cycles and even splitting their focus onto a new IP. And I especially say fuck Masuda and Ohmori for constantly lying about shit that was clearly their choices and blaming the dev team on it by going "oh it's for quality".
