I have a lot of nostalgia for that movie but i'm pretty sure most my enjoyment is from the nice animation. And the new animation does not look nice. Not knocking CG ether, shit just looks weird.

I'm still mad at how Magearna was treated in her movie. In the video games and TCG she's a fucking badass powerhouse and in the movie (which is pretty much the only way we get lore of mythicals) just has her be a helpless damsel in distress who wiffs a single attack against a steelix.

The pokemon company stopped caring about their fans who played pokemon since R/B/Y. Ever since X/Y/Go, they seem to be aiming to people who never played pokemon games or first-time players.
