It really shined in Gen5 weather wars as the best Chlorophyll user. Only losing some face next generation to Charizard X&Y, but Mega Venusaur is still really good. I guess if we could allocate some of that Attack stat to other stats or expand its movepool, but it's a knockout. Perfect as is.
This thread should actually be about how we save Blastoise. The worst starter of the 3. Really when people say Kanto starters in competitive they actually mean: Mega Venusaur, Charizard X & Y. Mega Blastoise looks fucking stupid. How do we save him boys?
