>>39504415Again this is Masuda. He gave an interview where he stated that he wanted parents to feel safe letting their kids play Pokemon. I wouldn’t be at all surprised if one of the screenshots on the back of the box was the trainer riding his bike in that full on retarded safety gear. And why does Masuda do this? Because he knows the secret to selling Pokemon games isn’t to entice kids into wanting to play it, or to appeal to the hardcore fans, it’s to appeal to clueless parents and grandparents who will see the cute trainer in his safety gear and buy the game for little timmy, who in reality would rather be playing GTA. But this is how Pokemon gets the majority of its sales. Release the game near Christmas and appeal to the gift givers, meaning the parents and grandparents. That’s what Masuda is, he’s a salesman, he’s not into making great games, he’s into making money.
