Predict which Pokemon will be cut and explain why. Pic Related because they probably wont want to deal with multiple alternative forms for a single pokemon.

Darmanitan, Aegislash, Minior. Anything that changes form mid-battle would require a total of eight different models -- six of those models being Dynamax models, three for each form.
Silvally. Too much of a pain to add 18 different memories into the game, and the colors to go with them. Doubly so for Dynamax models.

I would love for events to be like HGSS again, no more gift mons. In my opinion gift mons should be more for a second chance to obtain it later or for some older gen mons.

That's one of the things that suck about a lot of mythicals. You only get some flavor text in game and there you go, have fun with your red steam monster thing that has no right being a legendary. I'd rather prefer the mythical gimmick not to have existed at all and this shit is just the worst way to present them in the actual games

-49 legendaries - 20 mythicals including Phione - 54 starters exluding the 9 kantomons =-123
About an eighth of the total Pokedex plus the multiforms I didn't include. They could have used this info for damage control sooner, so I'm not buying the fact that these are the only ones getting cut

Aegislash is probably cut because of reasons unknown, much like the two very sun and moon Pokemon weren't in Pokemon sun and moon, not even USUM. That being said Aeigislash's form change is just one entire animation. So it's not unlikely that it's been cut because of a forme change

Honestly if all the previous gen starters were somehow included in the Galar dex that might convince me to buy the game. I'm still mad about no megas though. Gen 3 starter megas are my absolute favorites.
