You never hear about kids getting bullied over Angry Birds. You barely ever see adults getting judged for Angry birds. But with Pokemon everyone loses their mind, at least until GO

Not sure about NOW, but I recall a time when Angry Birds was intrinsically tied to social media, especially Facebook. I forget if it was a Facebook game or what (I've never had social media), but they definitely went hand in hand on your typical normie's phone or tablet.

I would say that nowadays it is more acceptable than a decade ago, where people were still on the line about giving smartphones to kids, and the mobile game industry was still an experiment.

Because the pokemon series shoves "friendship/love/teamwork" and other saccharine preschool bullshit down your throat. You can be "for kids" without trying to teach the same values that you should have learned with Barney. That's why I hate the "it's for kids" argument. Angry birds can be for kids but doesn't make you want to vomit
