This, honestly why would I be playing a pokemon game if I wasnt trying to battle pokemon, I also go out of my way to get all the hidden items and battle every trainer. Pokemon is about the adventure why cut out half the adventure and waste money on frivolous items. I also dont generally spend any money on any items until I go to fight the elite 4 and max out on revives. I dont revive pokemon during battle, only after and only during the elite 4 gauntlet.
