I'll settle for natures that lower the lesser used attack stat.
So, I will settle for something like impish or careful on a physical attacker.

I only did it for Pokemon Insurgence on hard mode, since, you know, the official games are easy as shit.
That being said, you could justify doing it for battle facilities so you don't have to breed to get a decent team.

I don't care as long as my pokemon doesn't have a really useless and hindering nature for it, like a Lonely Ralts if I plan to use Gardevoir. I'd be fine with a Lonely Gallade though.
Azumarill is probably the only mon I'd be picky for an ability. Huge Power is way too good.

When I play, I edit my Pokemon so that they all have neutral Natures, 16 IVs across the board, and equal EVs in each stat, with some exceptions.
That way, all my Pokemon are statistically average. I don't consider that cheating since it's a lot more detrimental than it is helpful.

Always for the ability. I never get an ideal nature unless it's way too shitty for the mon. It's a shit mechanic in-game that ends up fucking you over if you want to try anything other than casual in the endgame. Same for EVs. There should be a way to add more player control to your mons when it comes to these stats. Also have early Ability Capsules

It's not cheating. I don't do it myself since the games are already easy enough. When I do find pokemon with beneficial natures and/or abilities it's usually game breaking. Worst case scenario if I feel a pokemon is underperforming I just have it gain a few levels.
