Megas were it, I wanted to see them stick with one gimmick instead of making one every generation and ignoring the previous ones, but now they’ve gone as far as to completely scrap the older gimmicks. Why should I give one shit about gigantomax Pokemon when they’re just going to be cut next gen? Sadly this is Pokemon’s future, we’re going to keep getting gimmick after gimmick every generation with each one getting shafted in favor of the next.

If they reworked Mega Evolution forms into Dyna/Gigantomaxing, I could live with that. It would basically become a temporary version of the same thing. Quite frankly, Mega Evos were the best new feature to be added to the games since the GTS, and the fact that this game will have neither is a fucking sin again God.

Take your pick, just pick one:
-Actual animations in combat, none of this bouncing shit.
-Scrap the [thing]max forms, bring back megas but put more thought into it, prioritizing shitmons so everyone has a reason to use their favorites.
-A difficulty setting, even if it's just as shallow as a "veteran mode" that gives E4 AI to everyone in the game, or maxes the EVs of everyone and everything you fight.
-An actual postgame and/or more level-scaled areas after the game's beaten

I hate to sound like an irrational dextranny, but literally adding all pokemon and megas back. The actual campaigns have been fucking awful since XY. Easy, handholding, boring, repetitive, etc. The only reason I continue with the series is being invested in collecting/the metagame and removing the national dex hurts both of those appeals immensely. There's literally no reason for me to buy the games anymore, I just need showdown now

I just want a "harder" game, aka no hand-holding, no cutscenes, option to skip all tutorials, and gym leaders and trainers with more Pokemon.

Of course it would be nice if they stopped removing features they have implemented before, aka cucking us out of mega forms, character customization, battle frontier, etc.

I could close one eye for the 3ds games because of the leap from 2d to 3d, but this shit doesn't justify buying a switch, and I don't even have the incentive of carrying my Pokémons over so that they don't just float in a server.

I don't know, make the EXP normal again, significant postgame content, visuals on par with the rest of the switch library, all of the content they're culling to be in the game, significant postgame content like a frontier or maybe something even better given the hardware, more than 100 new mons. A.K.A. all the basic shit that should be there in the first place.
