Improve Gym Leader teams.

"Why Stantler in Morty's team," you say. Because it makes thematic sense. this is the same for Tyranitar in Claire's team, it's also a Johto mon.

If we're doing HGSS there's no reason Pryce shouldn't have Mamoswine, it was one of the few Sinnoh Pokemon in the dex.

I thought balancing their teams for better challenge and Johto representation was the main point of these threads. If it were me, I'd cut Seadra, reduce Tyranitar to Pupitar, and make sure that the Dragonite isn't overwhelmingly powerful by giving it incredibly powerful moves. Save that for Lance's Dragonite.

This is probably the most plausible in game while also respecting the type distribution. It doesn't look like it was taken out of a romhack, which is more than what I usually expect from this threads. Just take Ninetales and Heracross out and change Magneton for Magnemite and it would be nearly perfect

You can use >>39528669 as a template and cut Ninetales, Lapras and Gyarados. It's still unbalanced as fuck (Jasmine has a better team than most of the elite four), but nothing hard to fix

Sure, if they were to make Jhoto in a new gen, they would be something else. They would change Clefairy to Jigglypuff and probably the hypothetical Snubble to Teddiursa or something. But as it stands now, this is how it'd play. The gym is styled after a Clefairy and Snubbull is found in the route right before Goldenrod. It's the perfect fit pre-Fairy gens.
