Every gym has unique challenges inside with likely very different aesthetics given Nessa’s tube puzzle. The leader designs we’ve are also way more varied and interesting than other gens. There’s also the perk of having one dynamax per gym battle which I like even you don’t fuck you.

Not to mention they’re designing even more gyms than they normally would with version exclusives.

It's nothing new for Pokemon games, it's always been a thing since gen 1. And they did said that they will keep to the pokemon 'tradition' so of course it would include different coloured gyms and puzzles like every pokemon games ever.
Also from the look of map, there's likely at least three gyms with unique designs that isn't copy and paste, so you're just baiting at this point.

FURTHERMORE we finally have Gym staff trainers that are actualy dressed like they are unique gym staff instead of just generic trainers you see in the routes of the game.

Not really sure what you mean since that's pretty much every gym. And if anything, the leaders are less unique since they all have to wear a sport uniform

That's because you needed to be unique back then, and the designers did things because they enjoyed it. Pokémon is a classic example of getting too big, losing touch with reality, and going all-in on making as cheap a product as possible to maximize profit.
