>>39540091In LGPE, you can only transfer Gen 1 Pokemon (and Meltan) to the game from GO (Gens 2-4 Pokemon in GO can't be transferred). However, upon datamining, dataminers found the code/resources for all the other Pokemon, Gens 2-7, plus all items and abilities from Gen 7.
GameFreak went through the effort to work on all of that, only to use 153/809 Pokemon, and none of the items or abilities. Given this, I can guarantee that Gen 8 will be similar.
