With GTS, Transfering, Wonder Trade, and dozens of Wikis/Tutorials, completing the Pokedex is so much easier.
While Gen 3 didn’t have those feature, and far less wikis on what to do, on top of needing several spin off/remakes to even get the unavailable Pokemon.
And its not like it would require that much work or resources to REUSE models that were FUTUREPROOF.
