Did a Grass mono on Emerald many moons ago, and a Poison mono on Blue (used a cheat to give Golbat fly for posterity)

Recommendations on what to do next? Was considering gen ii Flying but my idea for a team was basically Lance

Platinum with Ground could be awesome, only problem is deciding who to give Earthquake to. You have all of Torterra, Garchomp, Gliscor, Gastrodon, Quagsire, Whiscash, Steelix, Wormadam (lol but you could I guess), Golem, Hippowdon, Mamoswine, and Rhyperior.
