What the fuck are you talking about?
Pokemon has always been a mediocre RPG with a gimmick.
The only reason its even alive is because of the toys it sells.
Almost all rpg that share the gimmick, such as dragon quest monsters, Monsterhunter Stories, SMT are all better RPGs.
Pokemon just has more side product to deal with. Card games, anime, manga, toys.

I feel like a huge part of my life has come to an end and i dont know if ill buy swsh. Ill probably play the first 7 gens until i complete a shiny dex, but i dont know after that, ill probably try to pick up pokemon again, maybe my older age will be able to see it with less judgemental eyes.
