How come FireRed and LeafGreen kept the normal trainer battle music for Team Rocket instead of remixing the special battle theme they got in Gen 2?

Because they wanted to copy Gen 1 and maybe it wouldn’t have sounded that great. I would rather have that though over the pair of $60 switch games that still don’t have it, and only have a total of 3 tracks that can play during battles.
Also tfw a 14 year old $30 gba game has more content then the $60 switch game.
