A new Pokémon Direct is coming in the next 5 weeks (august-first week of sep). Masuda will talk about the "Galardexit" (models with new textures, two models for each Pokémon, new lightning, ...).
For the animations they focused on the scenes rendered in real time from the game, and on the more complex moves. So far you have seen animations of minor moves like Roar, Tackle, Tail Whip, Double Kick...

The Direct will introduce the old mon's evolutions, and other things that idk.
Remake for DP are in development, set for release in 2020.
About the anime, Ash, Pikachu and Rotomdex will go to Galar region. Rotomdex will have the new design, Ash will have Grookey and Sobble (in fact, also Scorbunny is near him in a poster, but remember Eevee in SM?)

The artstyle is Sun and Moon but more detailed, more like movie 21th. Ash has no more rounded face. Unlike Alola, Galar will be introduced after the League in SM anime.
