You don't need pills to become a Pokemon Master. Also, your pills should be more effective than analyzing the value of one item. There should really be more business options with pokedollars.

I've never used a master ball in my life. I insist on using one of two methods:
1) All Pokemon caught in regular balls.
2) All Pokemon in regular balls, with the exception of Mythicals and Legendaries in ultra balls

Back when I was a baby playing Johto and Kanto I thought masterballs were way too precious to ever actually used, so I just held onto it forever. In Hoenn I acidentally used it on an Absol by mistake but then sort of got over it and realised they were pointless anyway.

I just wish the game stopped treating them like a super precious grand prize for the lottery and such.

It's valuable in a randomized nuzlocke if you ever encounter a pokemon with an ability that can destroy your team (I ran into a Pure Power Blastoise once), and if you run into a legendary.
